- What's interesting is that when caring for one of my pets, I always ask the vet how much a procedure will cost and what the expected outcome would be with or without the procedure. The vet can give me a pretty good ballpark figure and then I can make an educated decision.

- My daughter used the Plan B pill. She was 17 and her bf who was using protection decided it would be cute to pull it off and potentially expose her to pregnancy (she was taking bc pills, but was on a very strong anti-biotic so she insisted that they use a back up method).

- I know there are some programs that can be installed on cell phones to prevent texting while a vehicle is in motion, but they are not free. I think that all cell phones should come with this software installed, so that it is no longer a choice.

- I read every comment and there were some good points made. As a fairly new rider at the ripe age of 47, my only comment to add would be that bikes are more powerful and heavier now than they have ever been. Used to be a 750cc was a "big" bike - in the 80's.

- I'm not sure about the hybrids tested, but I usually drive mine (2012 Honda Insight) in town traffic (stop and go, speeds between 20-50 mph) and I average 38-42 mpg. We recently took it on a road trip (250 miles one way and back), all interstate driving at between 60-70 mph and we averaged 58 mpg.
